The underside of the Yamaha Tenere 700 takes a beating off-road. Headers, the side stand switch, and the rear linkage are all exposed to rocks and debris on rough terrain. This skid plate and linkage guard combination is designed to address that exposure without compromise.
The AltRider Skid Plate is manufactured from 4 mm aluminum with hand TIG-welded construction for the finish and durability the bike deserves. It mounts directly to robust frame points, ensuring it stays securely in place under impact rather than flexing away from the components it is meant to protect. Coverage extends across the full underside of the bike, including the headers and the vulnerable side stand switch — a part that is both easy to damage and expensive to replace.
The included Linkage Guard adds a second layer of protection for the rear suspension linkage. Made from durable 6 mm HDPE plastic, it bolts directly to four mounting points on the skid plate using stainless steel hardware for a secure fit and long-lasting durability.
