AltRider DualControl Brake System for the BMW F 850 / 750 GS - Black

The AltRider DualControl system makes your rider safer and increase your rear break control. ADV riders constantly shift between sitting and standing, and each position puts your foot at a different angle relative to the stock brake pedal. If your foot is not already in the right spot when you need to brake, your reaction time doubles before you even touch the pedal.

At 60 mph, a half-second delay in braking means 44 feet of extra stopping distance and a good knee angle when sitting is key when riding long days.

The riser creates a second engagement level that keeps your foot in a functional braking position whether your leg is bent in a seated position or extended while standing. The enlarger plate increases the pedal surface area so your boot finds purchase quickly over rough terrain, even when your footing is shifting.

The enlarger and riser are precision-fit to each specific model for long-term stability.

When you switch from sitting to standing, your foot angle changes. The OEM brake pedal does not change with you. If your foot is out of position when you need to stop, you are adding reaction time and stopping distance you cannot afford.

The DualControl Brake System addresses this with two components. The riser and enlarger plate create two distinct engagement levels — one matched to the bent-knee angle of seated riding, one to the flatter foot position of standing — so your foot finds the pedal correctly in either position. The enlarger is precision fit to each bike model, keeping it stable over hard off-road miles.

Both components are sold separately or as a kit. Also compatible with the BMW F 700 GS and F 650 GS Twin. Fitment on the Adventure model requires installation of the standard brake pedal, BMW part# 35_0347.
