The Tenere 700's OEM headlight and instrument cluster have a known weakness — they shake. On gravel roads, rail crossings, or rough trails, the movement can be significant enough to create a strobe effect from the headlight and make the display hard to read.
This bracket solves the problem by connecting the rear of the TFT display to the windshield brace bar, forming a rigid triangle between the display, windscreen, and headlight mount points. Triangulation is the most effective way to stop unwanted movement, and it works here.
The cross bar also serves as a GPS or tablet mount point. The bracket is compatible with the AltRider GPS Bar Mount.
