AltRider DualControl Brake System for the Yamaha Tenere 700 (2019-Current) - Black

The AltRider DualControl system makes your rider safer and increase your rear break control. ADV riders constantly shift between sitting and standing, and each position puts your foot at a different angle relative to the stock brake pedal. If your foot is not already in the right spot when you need to brake, your reaction time doubles before you even touch the pedal.

At 60 mph, a half-second delay in braking means 44 feet of extra stopping distance and a good knee angle when sitting is key when riding long days.

The riser creates a second engagement level that keeps your foot in a functional braking position whether your leg is bent in a seated position or extended while standing. The enlarger plate increases the pedal surface area so your boot finds purchase quickly over rough terrain, even when your footing is shifting.

The enlarger and riser are precision-fit to each specific model for long-term stability.

Most OEM brake pedals are designed for one foot position. Out on the trail, you're constantly switching between sitting and standing — and every time your foot isn't already on that pedal, your reaction time doubles. AltRider built the DualControl Brake System to fix that.

The system has two parts. The riser creates a second braking level so your foot contacts the pedal correctly whether your leg is bent in the seat or straight while standing. Two riser heights are available to match different riding styles, and risers can be swapped out for further customization. The enlarger plate increases the surface area of the pedal so you have something real to work with as terrain shifts under you.

Both the riser and enlarger are available separately or together as a kit. The system is also compatible with the Tenere 700 World Raid model.
