The Reinforcement Crash Bars are the third component in AltRider's three-part crash bar system for the Honda CRF1100 Africa Twin. Their job is to tie the upper and lower bars together into one connected structure. When the bike takes a large impact, force spreads across the entire system rather than loading one section of bar or one mounting point. This protects the engine, frame, and other components that are costly to repair or replace.
The bars are hand-TIG welded from 1-inch stainless steel tubing and attach to the upper and lower bars using custom cast stainless steel clamps. All hardware is included. Compatible with both DCT and manual transmission models, and the DCT oil filter stays accessible without removing the bars.
The Reinforcement Crash Bars can be purchased separately or as part of the full system. AltRider Upper and Lower Crash Bars are required for installation.
