When your Tenere 700 goes down, the upper crash bars take the hit so your radiator and bodywork don't. That's their job — and they do it as part of a complete system.

These bars mount directly to the AltRider Lower Crash Bars using custom stainless steel cast clamps that are welded to the upper bars themselves. They connect at four points on the lower bars, tying the left and right sides together. This means an impact isn't absorbed by one point — it travels through the entire system and spreads across every mounting location.

The connection between upper and lower bars also stiffens the lower bars. The whole system becomes stronger than either part alone.

Available in bead-blasted silver or powder coat black. AltRider Lower Crash Bars are required for installation.

A tip-over or low-side on the trail can destroy a radiator or crack expensive body panels in seconds. The AltRider Upper Crash Bars wrap around the front of the Tenere 700 to put a barrier between the ground and those vulnerable components.

They mount directly to the AltRider Lower Crash Bars using custom stainless steel cast clamps that are welded to the upper bars themselves. This ties the left and right sides of the lower bars together and creates four solid connection points. The result is a single integrated system — impacts hit the upper bars and the load spreads across the entire structure rather than concentrating at one point.

AltRider Lower Crash Bars are required for installation. The upper bars are available in silver bead-blasted stainless steel or powder coat black.
