Rocks and debris kicked up by the front tire hit the engine face directly. BMW offers no stock protection there. This guard covers that exposed area with brushed stainless steel built to take the hit.

The fit is closer to the engine than competing guards, which keeps fender clearance where it needs to be. The larger surface area means more of the engine face is actually shielded — not just the center. Aluminum ball studs with stainless steel threads replace the OEM hardware and hold everything securely.

Removing the guard for cleaning requires no tools. The rubber grommet system lets you pull it off after a muddy ride, clean the engine, and put it back quickly. It also pairs directly with the AltRider Skid Plate if you want full underside coverage.
