HONDA CRF1000L Africa Twin (2016-2019)

The standard AltRider Skid Plate already gives the Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin strong underbelly protection. This extension takes that coverage further — all the way back to the rear shock linkage — for riders who want maximum protection and are not using a center stand.

The extension's forward section sandwiches onto the existing skid plate bracket, adding two more attachment points and making the main plate itself more rigid. At the rear, it mounts on the left to the center stand pivot point and on the right to the factory frame bracket. This approach picks up a strong mount point as far rearward as possible. The tail of the extension reaches only 3.75 inches beyond the rearmost mount — far less unsupported material than competing designs.

This part requires the AltRider Skid Plate for the Honda Africa Twin to be installed first. It is not a standalone product.
