• Puncture Protection: Specially shaped louvers block sticks and trail debris from reaching and damaging the radiator core.
• Airflow Maintained: Guard is spaced at least 1/2 inch from the radiator face and directs airflow through, so the engine stays cool even with the guard in place.
• Impact Distributed: A wide 4-inch mounting tab spreads impact force across a large area, so a hard hit does not damage the radiator or its mounting points.
• Simple Install: Remove three existing bolts, slide the guard in, and reinstall — no extra hardware, no spacers, and no need to remove the fairings.

BMW R 1200 GSW Adventure (2014-2017)

The R 1200 GS Water Cooled brought a radiator into the mix — and that radiator needs protection. Rocks, sticks, and trail debris can reach it before you do.

This guard was built specifically for the GSW Adventure. The louver geometry is not generic. It was shaped to match the shroud contours exactly, which is how the guard mounts without spacers, without extra hardware, and without touching the fairings. You remove three bolts, slide the guard in, and put the bolts back.

The only radiator guard on the market to use a 4-inch mounting tab, it spreads impact force over a wide area rather than concentrating it at a single point. That matters when a rock hits hard. The guard sits clear of the radiator face so airflow is not blocked — the engine runs as cool with the guard as without it.
